ABOUT THE AREA
The residents in this city are fortunate to have 12 parks, one of which, Barker, has an amphitheater, one of which is a skate park, and the North Shore Aquatic center. The Stump Artesian well can be found in Bicentennial park. This well, dug in the 1930's, now supplies a water fountain chiseled out of the stump of a cottonwood tree. Equestrian park has a riding arena. almost all the parks have playground equipment. The North Ogden Historical Museum has a collection of photos of the town from the 1870's through the 1930's; a model railroad display, various toiletries and kitchen items from the town's early days, early chinaware, early school desks and a replica of a schoolhouse.
