This court is the Sixth District Court of Sevier county in the Sixth Judicial district of the state of Utah.

A caramel colored group of hills, South of Richfield, are known as Big Rock Candy Mountain. Whimsically, one of the local springs has been named "Lemonade Spring". However besides this bit of whimsy the site is known. for both its natural beauty and outdoor recreational opportunities. The Museum at Fremont Indian State park has on display pottery types, dew claw moccasins, unfired clay figurines and petroglyphs with trapezoidal body shapes characteristic of the Freemont Indian culture. These items were discovered in a Fremont Village uncovered when construction of Interstate 70 through Clear Creek Canyon was proceeding during 1983. A replica of a Fremont Indian pit house and granary are located near the museum.
