Well, with the population center, Stuart, having less than 1000 people, the county is not overflowing so the courts here may not be all that busy.
ABOUT THE AREA
Two local legends make Patrick County quite memorable. Lovers Leap is said to have been created when a white settler fell in love with the daughter of an Indian chief. Being a forbidden love and therefore not allowed, the two young lovers plunged to their deaths off a rocky ledge--and Lovers Leap was born. Then there is Fairy Stone Park, said to be created when fairies playing in the woods, upon hearing of the death of Christ began to weep. Their tears fell onto earth, crystallized and formed the now collectible Fairy Stones. Despite these two somewhat depressing tales, Patrick County is a lovely and peaceful area to visit, with a lot of good trout fishing. But if you are unable to find any fairy stones, or if your love is forbidden, that should not push you to jump.
