This historical town is one of the smaller suburbs of Massachusetts. There are about 37,000 people living there. It is in between towns and not a far drive from Boston. The town was established in the first half of the 17th century and was centered around the tanning and shoemaking businesses. Colonial Woburn was typical in the small farms it had but these businesses helped the community. Today, many historic buildings are still standing in Woburn and can be viewed by the public. Their library is one of those buildings and many townspeople have helped to keep the building in good shape. There is also a wonderful country club there also with excellent golfing.
