ABOUT THE AREA
There is about 60,000 people living in Haverhill. The town started as an area with gristmills, tanneries, and shipbuilders. The area grew and grew from the 16OOs onward. Today, the small city has many companies and thriving businesses. The town has a municipal department, recreation, town maintenance and many other councils to help keep the area running smoothly. Access to quality education and services are available there. The town is also trying to preserve the environment in the area and has an initiative to help clean up.
