Lynn, Marblehead, Nahant, Saugus and Swampscott are the Lynn court jurisdiction. Another mill town that originally started out larger until Swampscott broke away from the center town. Swampscott is a more suburban area where Lynn is the business and industrial part. Lynn is known for the businesses where commercial and textile companies were created. The town has a large population of about 82,000 people. The area is also known for first inventions and places. First ever tannery was there as well as dance academy, first baseball game, first iron works, and first fire engine. Very neat place to visit for the historical information.
