Woodbury Traffic Court gets its share of speeders. Route 17 is widely thought to be a big speed trap.
ABOUT THE AREA
Home of Woodbury Commons, which has shopping guides in multiple languages - even Japanese. There have been long battles with the village of Kiryas Joel, though they do not rise to the level of the Palestinians and the Israelis. In 2006 the townspeople created a village of Woodbury which covers most of the town.<br>Not the same as the Woodbury hamlet in Long Island.
