ABOUT THE AREA
The 5 Arch Bridge (1856-1857) crosses the Conesus Outlet, as part of the Rochester-Avon-Genesee-Mt Morris line. Avon also hosts the Genesee Valley Kart Club, one of the oldest of its kind in the country, & the East Avon Vintage Drive In. Local walking tours include the 1st Methodist Episcopal Church of Avon (1875 - now the Avon United Methodist Church) & the 1st Presbyterian Church of Avon (circa 1800) , both on the National Register of Historical Places
