ABOUT THE AREA
Carteret Borough is nestled in the north-east corner of Middlesex County and borders the state of NY. It is home to nearly 21,000 residents. Philip Carteret, who served as the first Governor of New Jersey. Medwick Park and other parks in the borough have many recreational facilities such as roller hockey rink, baseball etc. Most of them also have picnic areas. The borough has a vast network of bus & rail systems. I-95 (NJ Turnpike), Rt 602 and 604 pass through the borough.
