ABOUT THE AREA
Wareham is a smaller city of about 20,000 people. The townspeople hold a deep tradition of shipbuilding and industry. The area is not far from Cape Cod and they receive tourists during the summer months. The town was also once the home of famous actress Geena Davis. She grew up there and went to Boston Univerisity for drama. Geena won the academy award for best supporting actress in the Accidental Tourist, but we liked her better in that girly baseball movie.
