ABOUT THE AREA
Summit City in Union County is home to nearly 22,000 people. Watchung Mountain Range borders Summit City to the South. Summit Golf Club and Canoe Brook Country Club are located in this city. Short Hills Mall is a 5-minute drive from Summit Golf Club. Passaic River Park borders Summit City and is less than a couple of miles from the Municipal Court. Interstate-78, Routes 24, 512, 527, 643, 651 and 657 pass through the city. Summit has several places in the National Register of Historic Places. Newmann Hall Mansion believed to be more than 200 years old is one of them, and is where the Seinfeld character Newman was born.
