Minutes from the VT border, the Town of Hoosick contains the village of Hoosick Falls. Communities include Buskirk, Eagle Bridge, Potter Hill, Walloomsac, Hoosick, E. Buskirk, N.Hoosick and Hoosick Falls.<br>Folk artist Grandma Moses is buried in Hoosick. The Battle of Bennington of the American Revolution was fought in the town, northeast of the community of Walloomsac.
