Union County in NJ has over a half-million people. A good part of Union County is in the Watchung Mountain Range. Union County is well-served by GSP, NJ Turnpike, I-278, I-78, US Route 1, US Rt 9 and US Rt 22. Elizabeth is the county seat and is the fourth most populous city in the state of NJ. It also happens to be NJ\'s largest UEZ and is therefore a huge shopping district. Roselle borough was the first town in the world to be lighted by Thomas Edison's electric bulb in 1883. Union township in Union County was also the site of Edison's experiments of pure concrete homes. Union County is also home to Middlesex Water Company Reservoir, Union County College and several golf clubs such as Hyatt Hills Golf Complex, Roselle Golf Club etc. It is very close to Newark International Airport, and of course to New York City.
