Wharton Borough has a population of about 7000 people. The Municipal Court has moved from the old location to 10 Baker Street, Mine Hill. The new location is about a couple of miles away from the old location. The borough has many scenic ponds in the area - Washington Pond, Duck Pond and Baker Mill Pond are all in the vicinity. Rockaway Townsquare Mall in Rockaway is just a 2-minute drive from the Courthouse. Picatinny Arsenal Golf Club is nearby too. St. Claires Hospital in Dover is the nearest hospital. I-80 and US Rt 46 serve the borough.
