ABOUT THE AREA
South Orange is the only Village in Essex County. It has nearly 17,500 residents. South Orange Village is a part of the picturesque South Mountain Reservation.Seton Hall University, the oldest diocesan university in the United States is located in South Orange. Grove Park, Ivy Hill Park, Meadowland Park and My Hill Park are all in South Orange. Routes 510, 577 and 638 pass through the village.
