ABOUT THE AREA
Hopatcong Borough in Sussex County is home to Lake Hoptacong, the largest lake in NJ. Location makes it a tourist destination and a summer resort. Hopatcong State Park is here too. The other place worth visiting is Lake Hopatcong Historical Museum which is in the State Park Premises off Rt 80. The museum has many artifacts and memorabilia about the Lake and its history; admission is free. Route 607 is the one of the busier routes in the borough. US Rt 206 and Route 15 are nearby too.
