While called Ansonia-Milford Judicial District Court, the court itself is located in Milford.
ABOUT THE AREA
Ansonia is on the banks of the Naugatuck River, which flows down near Milford. Ansonia is connected to the rest of Connecticut through Route 8 and also Metro Rail road. For some reason it is called the city of the Electronic valley and the reason could be that a lot of electrical supplies were manufactured here. Ansonia has had a tumultuous history with the Naugatuck River flooding the city in 1955 and then in the recent past there was a major fire tragedy in the Latex plant of Ansonia. The city has survived these disasters and has pulled along. Both Ansonia and Milford are on the southwestern part of the county.
