ABOUT THE AREA
Derby is one of the cities from the electronic valley of Connecticut. The famous football team, Derby Red Raiders has won the state championship a number of times. Being Connecticut’s smallest city doesn’t stop Derby from being the most successful city. It flourished in trade because of both the Naugatuck River and the Housatonic River passing through Derby. It also won the All America City award in the year 2000.
