ABOUT THE AREA
Atlantic City in Atlantic County is a resort town with nearly 45,000 year-round residents. It is famous for its beautiful beaches, gourmet restaurants and casinos. Borgeta Hotel Casino, Trump Taj Mahal Casino, Slowboat Casino and Atlantic City Hilton Casino are few of the casinos in the city. Atlantic City is divided into these sections - Bungalow Park, Chelsea, Chelsea Heights, Ducktown, Inlet, Marina District, Midtown, Venice Park and Westside - most of which are colorful and expensive. US Rt 30, US Rt 40, US Rt 322 and Atlantic City Expressway are the main routes to the city. Route 87 passes through the city too. Atlantic City also has several shopping malls such as Millard Mall and Pier Shops and several other shopping stores. The city is also well-known for it\'s ocean-front piers. Hospitals such as Atlantic City Medical Center and Weisman Children\'s Rehab Hospital are in Atlantic City too.
