Rte 436 becomes Mill Street, where the town court is located in the same building as the village court. Google brings up the "town police department", which is the correct address.
ABOUT THE AREA
<i>Where the valley meets the hills</i> in the Seneca language, Nunda includes the communities of Guys Corners, Seetcake Hollow, Coopersville & Barkertown. After the canal & railroad declined, the Union Block (now in both the National & State Registers of Historical Places) was built to draw business, including the Post Office, a dry goods department store, grocery store & the Nunda News, published every week without interruption from 1859-1982. The Foote Manufacturing Co, the most famous industry here, received recognition for its power concrete mixers at the 1913 San Francisco Expo, in 1926 from the American Institute, & in 1943 from the US War Dept, for building runways. The lovely Letchworth State Park is also nearby.
