We thought the Town Court was in the same building as the Town Highway Dept., across the street from the Town Hall. But we were recently advised court is in Town Hall itself.
ABOUT THE AREA
Determined to maintain their town history, the West Sparta Historical Society is inventorying the older buildings & sites, road by road, gathering their history. The info will be used to help maintain & renovate their historical buildings. The original Town Hall (1927) is currently eligible for the National Registry of Historical Places. A prehistoric village site (RP Kemp Site #1) of the late Woodland Period is on the National Registry. November draws hunters to West Sparta Big Buck Contest & Hunters Breakfast.
