ABOUT THE AREA
Formed in 1816, and including the communities of Springwater, East Springwater, Tabor Corners & Websters Crossing, the Town of Springwater boasts the highest point in Livingston County, at 2244 feet. The southern tip of Hemlock Lake is not far from the center of Springwater. Consider what happened to Socrates, we cannot recommend drinking from anything named Hemlock, even if the town has such a nice name.
