Hammonton Municipal Court is sometimes called the BlueBerry Capital of the World and is home to nearly 23000 people. William Kessler Memorial Hospital and Ancora Psychiatric Hospital are located in Hammonton and serve the township. The African-American Heritage Museum of Southern NJ is located in Hammonton. Frog Rock Golf and Country Club is in the township too. Other places of interest include Hammonton Lake and State Park. Routes 54, 542, 559, 561 and US Rt 2 and US Rt 30 pass through the township.
