Jackson township is home to about 44,000 people. A good part of Jackson lies in an area called the Pinelands. Jackson Mills Lake, Turkey Swamp Park and Six Flags Theme and Adventure Park are places to see in the township. Six Flags Park boasts of having the fastest roller-coaster ride in the world. Westlake Golf and Country Club, Metedeconk National Golf Club and Lakewood Country Club are in Jackson township too. Interstate 195 and Routes 526, 527, 528, 537, 539, 547 and 571 pass through the township. Banana Republic 6 Flags Mall is in Jackson too.
