Point Pleasant has nearly 14,600 residents -- or is it maybe 20K? NJ Museum of Boating is located here. The borough is home to the beautiful River Avenue Beach and Maxson Avenue Beach. Parks such as Community Park and Heritage Park dot this residential Borough.<br> The mayor is quite proud of Point Pleasant being named the 3rd best place to live. Then again, that was 1997.
