Alleghany County in Virginia is spread over 445 square miles. Clifton Forge, Selma, Iron Gate and Low Moor are sections within the County. Attractions include Ingleside Park and Washington Park in Clifton Forge, Dabney Lancester Community College in Selma and Alleghany Country Club and Memorial Park in Low Moor. US Rt 60, US Rt 220, Interstate-64 and Routes 696 and 1710 traverse Alleghany County.<br>Alleghany County seems to be right about on the West Virginia border, and a lot of traffic goes back and forth between the states on I-64, with Lake Moomaw to the north.
