ABOUT THE AREA
Annsville is a small town and its population is over 2,000 people. There is an area school with several sports teams. A small downtown and some businesses. The cheese factory was important to the area as it provided jobs for the local people. Also, the timber industry was successful and many people worked cutting trees. They would send them to timber mills to be processed and shipped throughout the Northeast. This area still tends to these industries and they are changing as jobs go overseas.
