US-22 crosses over Jefferson County. Court is right near the river which borders the northern spike of West Virginia.

Steubenville in Jefferson County was known to be one of the wealthiest places in the entire country. Its main area of business was steel and coal and that is what made the place rich. US-22 passes through this county and a lot of travelers to Pittsburgh take this route. Jefferson county makes an ideal location for business and it also has the Jefferson Air park which adds value to the county.
