ABOUT THE AREA
The village of New Hartford has a municipal building that was created before 1900 by a local man named Morgan Butler. He meant for this building to be used by the community to have a place for local government and activities throughout the years. The building has a bowling alley, a gym, municipal offices and much more. The town has had several historical nights held here and town wide socials. There is also a library for the community to use and a group called Good Times meets here for older adults.
