ABOUT THE AREA
The Remsen Barn Festival is a great community event that many people in New York State attend. It is the 4th weekend of September every year. Each year they have food vendors, games, and entertainment. There is dancing and everyone can join in. The fall foliage is out at this time and great scenery can be viewed. Many times there have been contests for produce and awards given to the best. There is also a display and vendors of traditional crafts of the area.
