ABOUT THE AREA
Sherrill is one of the smallest cities in New York. There are only 3,000 or so people. The town was founded in 1916, it has a commissioner-manager type of government (no, we do not know what that means). This allows Sherrill to be recognized as a city and not as a small town. The city commissioner meeting gets together at different times during the year to discuss matters of the town. There are several clubs in the area, churches, a good school system, and nice areas to build homes.
