The website is pretty cool for such a seemingly remote place.

This area, on Oneida Lake, has many attractions and many people live here because they can walk out their door to a vacation spot. Here there is a theme park, the beach, and a lighthouse organization. Many people from all over New York State come to visit this village and its great shops, theme park, and good restaurants. The theme park has roller coasters, games, and fun park food. Down the road the beach is a great place to get a tan and take a swim. There are also opportunities to boat, water ski, and play water sports. The Verona Lighthouse Association is right next door, has a museum, and you can view the lighthouse itself. Wonderful area to visit and great place to live.
