ABOUT THE AREA
Dobbs Ferry is a historic village located on the Hudson River approximately 20 miles north of New York City. It is part of the Town of Greenburgh. According to original diaries of George Washington, he met at Dobbs Ferry (Livingston Manor) with French allies de Rochambeau and de Grasse to plan the Yorktown campaign that ended the Revolutionary War.
