ABOUT THE AREA
Licking County is right in the middle of Ohio and is one of the fastest growing counties in Ohio state. Licking County got its name because of the salt licks that were in the area. There are some interesting points of observation here like the American mounds which dates back to the Hopewell period, and the Velvet Ice cream production facility which is called the Ye Olde mill and the National Trial raceway are all one of their kind and worth a visit.
