Of museums canals and villages, Coshocton County is distinctive in its essence. The community borrows its name from the Indian term for Ferry or even River crossing. Coshocton is located right where the Tuscarawas and the Walhonding Rivers converge. The Salt Fork State Park which touches the banks of these rivers offers a lot of recreational activities like fishing, boating, swimming, horse riding for visitors.
