District 05-2-27 serves the Pittsburgh neighborhoods of Oakland, Soho, and parts of South Side. This is one of the busier courts in Pittsburgh, considering Oakland has over 50,000 rowdy college students and South Side has thousands of weekend bar crawlers. South Side is known for its long strip of bars on Carson Street, and Oakland is known for its ethnic diversity, as well as being home to the University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, Carlow University, several hospitals, many museums, and endless authentic restaurants. Oakland was once its own city before it was annexed but it still retained its own identity and feel.
