Wawarsing Town Court is in the Town Hall. Canal Street is Rte 52; Town Court is located at the corner of Canal Street & Main (Rte 52 & 209)

Bordered by the Shawangunk range & the Catskills, Wawarsing was the site of major battles during the French & Indian War, & Tory/Indian raids during the Revolution. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places are the O & W Railroad Station & Hoornbeck Store Complex; Chetolah is in the hamlet of Cragsmore, as well as a Historic District & the 5000 acre Sam's Point Preserve.
