Wasn't there a movie named Gallipolis? Probably wasn't about a municipal court though.

Gallipolis in Latin means the City of Gauls and the city’s first settlers were French. Even today you find a lot of French influences in the city in the form of culinary effects and even architecture. Gallia is located right on the banks of Ohio River. The Bandstand city park is the focal point downtown. La Vue Premiere is a statue that was built to honor the first settlers of Frenchmen who soon left finding that there was less scope for them in a city like Gallipolis and left the statue behind. However, today Gallipolis has many promises for its settlers unlike the French. Beautiful parks and ancient cemetery’s are all nice places to visit and enjoy a picnic.
