The best way to explore Portsmouth is by taking a walk along the Ohio River in downtown. Do NOT miss the Floodwall Murals which walk you through Ohio’s history and give you an insight of all those people who sacrificed their lives in war. If the Floodwall murals intrigues you enough then go further ahead and visit the Southern Ohio Museum which gives intricate details of Ohio’s history. There are many parks around the downtown area to spend your afternoons in like Alexandria Park and Bannon Park. The newest addition to Portsmouth is the Grant Bridge on the lines of the White Stone Bridge in New York State.
