COMMENTS
Homer Village Court meets in the same building as the Homer Town Court. Just off Main St (Rte 11) near its intersection with Clinton St (Rte 41)
ABOUT THE AREA
Virtually the entire village is an Historic District, listed in the National Register of Historic Places! Many famous people have come from Homer - Amelia Jenks Bloomer, a women's rights support, and inventor of The Bloomers; Francis Carpenter, a portrait painter whose "First Reading of the Emancipation Proclamation" graces the US Capitol; David Hannum, who played a major role in the "Cardiff Giant" hoax.
