ABOUT THE AREA
Right at the foot of the St. Gabriel Mountains, Pasadena is a wonderful city which has plenty of things to offer in terms of sight seeing. It is an architecturally beautiful city and you can see this by visiting the Civic Center, Play House District, Madison Heights, Oak knoll and Lombardi District. Also popular are the Arboretum, Carnegie Observatory, Rose Bowl, and the Descanso Gardens. One should take time to visit each oen of these as the information and indulgence is plenty in any of these places. If you also have more time in this city then you should definitely watch the Pasadena Symphony perform. And at the right time of year, of course, there's the Rose Bowl Parade.
