Mayfield is so small, its Wikipedia article quips that "on a map, people are the biggest things around." It's a great area with very little crime.
ABOUT THE AREA
Mayfield is a cozy small town right on the Great Sacandaga Lake, in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. Like the nearby Broadalbin, it's an incredibly scenic area with a great historical background. It contains the village of Mayfield and part of the village of Broadalbin.
