Kingwood is an "annex" of the <a href="http://www.town-court.com/getTownCourt.php?courtID=2433">Houston Municipal Court</a>. Open only on Wednesdays and they close for an hour lunch 12pm-1pm. Not too busy?
ABOUT THE AREA
Kingwood is home to the Creekwood Nature Area and Lake Houston. You can do a little hiking and enjoy the wildlife at Kingwood or cast a line to see if you can catch a nice catfish or bass in Lake Houston which is over 11,000 acres. Be sure to bring along your golf clubs because there are many golf courses in the area with Kingwood Country Club is the closest. This is a "planned community." Seems to be working out for them.
