ABOUT THE AREA
Bragging about a gorgeous and ancient village incorporated into the United States of America back on 1830's and having no more than 3 square miles; raises proudly Penn Yan; the county seat of the scenic Yates County. The name of the city comes from a very interesting fusion of the first syllables of “Pennsylvania” and “Yankee”.
