Located at the north end of the Schoharie Reservoir and Recreational area, court sees many "recreational" violations - boating violations, dwi/dui.
ABOUT THE AREA
Gilboa Fossils boasts petrified wood dating from the Devonian Period, about 370 miilion years old. Off more recent age are the Mine Kill Falls and Schoharie Resevoir and Recreational Area. The village of Old Gilboa was once the largest settlement in the county. Now it lies at the bottom of the lake created by the Gilboa Dam.
