ABOUT THE AREA
This town feels like you're in the old west, one of the oldest towns in the Galveston County. During World War II, Hitchcock had a naval air station that was used for blimps and to this day the pillars still remain standing. The blimps were used to inspect the Gulf Coast for any German naval ships looking to attack the U.S.
