ABOUT THE AREA
Back in the late 1700's, the capital of the State of New York transferred these almost 37 square miles to Washington County. The Irish and English ancestries had a major European influence on the construction of this community and the bonds between this town with its ancestries culture. The sky might be clear, covered with clouds or lightened by the shining starts, but this town will be expecting its temporary foreign "family members".<br>Some in the region think Cambridge is well known for monastic cultures -- they got monks making cheese.
