ABOUT THE AREA
Hartford was included in the Town of Westfield along with other territories, but it was not till the ending of the 18th century when this town received its name. The Civil War Enlistment Center has written with invisible ink the beginning of the journey of many who served their country during the Civil War. The principal villages are Harfort, South and East Harford; each one projects its own spirit and charm.
