ABOUT THE AREA
The Adirondack Park is the home of this land defined by the Hudson River on one of its border lines was previously called Athol by the town pionners. The formation of Town of Warrensburg reduced the territory of "Athol Town", later it was divided once again to origin the Town of Stony Creek.
