King City is the heart of Salinas valley located on the famous highway 101 of California. While in King City “Things to do” is not at all a concern because there is plenty in terms of indoor an outdoor entertainment. When it comes to the specialties of the city, Lake Nacimiento (sounds swimmingly) and Lake San Antonio (There was a Saint Tony?) should not be missed. Close by is Pinnacles and when you reach the top the view down there is beautiful and the entire place is surrounded by Vineyards. Denny’s Restaurant located on Broadway Street has earned its name by selling the best steaks in the city so try em’ out. <i>If that's true, the place is really in trouble.</i>
